Dennis Champa is a Founder – Managing Director at 1796 Private Wealth. With over two decades of experience in financial services, Dennis focuses on helping clients move toward their goals with clarity, confidence, and a well-defined plan.
Over the course of his career, Dennis has taken on a variety of roles—from Financial Advisor to Regional Productivity Manager to Producing Branch Manager—bringing passion and experience in each role.
Dennis works closely with individuals and families to build personalized strategies that align with what matters most to them, while also partnering with other advisors to enhance the level of service clients receive. He believes the best financial relationships are built on trust, ownership, and always putting clients first.
A lifelong Northeast Ohio resident, Dennis earned his degree in business and organizational communications from University of Akron. He holds multiple securities registrations, along with insurance and long-term care certifications, giving him a broad perspective on comprehensive financial planning.
Outside of work, Dennis enjoys spending time with his wife and children, coaching youth sports, and staying active. He’s also involved in his community, supporting organizations like Providence House and mentoring young students through local programs.
